Platform

A good friend of mine mentioned that running for city council includes letting people know my platform, so here's the start of it.

Listening and proper governance

My vision is a governement that listens to it's people. I will listen. I will return phone calls and I will ask questions to our leaders that need to be asked. I'll add an element of teamwork at City Hall because of my honesty, integrity and desire to serve everyone.

Police and Fire Protection

Advocate for fire stations on the outer edges of the city and maintaining existing fire stations.

Do what it takes for police to handle theft and illegal substance use.

Transportation and Utilities

Completion of Veteran's Parkway as soon as safely possible.

Traffic flow during construction.

Support plans for improved traffic flow in the long term.

Green spaces

Reserve green spaces as development continues.

A new multi-use trail loop between Veteran's Parkway and Harrisburg.

The city is here to serve everyone in it. That was a big part of my mindset when I worked for the City of Sioux Falls 10 years ago. I'd like to use the talents I have to continue serving in this role on Sioux Falls City Council. Listening is a huge part of that, so I'm sure my platform will grow as I continue to listen to the needs of those in Southeast Sioux Falls.
